The Deputy Commissioner of South West Khasi Hills has declared ‘dry days’ on December 25 throughout the district on account of Christmas and January 1 on account of New Year. All bonded warehouses, liquor home delivery, canteens, bars, IMFL shops and outstills will remain closed on this day, the notification said.
