A suspected drug peddler was arrested with 1.85 grams of heroin in the city today, police said.
The person was moving around suspiciously in Polo Bazar when the foot patrol party of the Pasteur Beat House detained him at around 8:20 am.
The Anti-Narcotic Task Force of the district followed it up and recovered 18 vials containing the drug, mobile phone and Rs 1750 from his possession.
A case is being registered under the NDPS Act, police said.
