Shillong, Sep 8: A two-day design awareness program, “Abhilasha,” kicked off in Tura today to inspire and nurture the creative potential of young learners in West Garo Hills.
Organized by the Design Innovation Centre (DIC), Department of Design, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, in collaboration with the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills, the program is being held at the District Auditorium in Tura.
Over the next two days, participating students will engage in sessions on major areas of design, career opportunities, alternative options and preparation for entrance examinations.
Supported by the Ministry of Education the event aims to provide a platform for young learners to explore the dynamic world of design through interactive and engaging experiences.
