Before accusing Rahul Gandhi of “demeaning” India abroad; BJP must look inwards and find out exactly which person regularly comes up with dialogues of “Nothing Happened prior to 2014” in foreign lands! Who has often boasted abroad that before he took over the reins of the country; India was nothing but “Scam India” with citizens feeling ashamed to call themselves “Indian” and that “India was begging earlier and would not beg more”!
Even the whole Gandhi family (including the “son-in-law”) have been repeatedly character-assassinated on foreign tours !
And indeed it remains the ultimate fact that the truth remains the truth irrespective of the country where it is uttered – – be it in India or Colombia. If BJP leaders are so angry upon Rahul, why don’t they come up with counter arguments by furnishing proof and logic in a sane civilised way!
And why take offence when Rahul Gandhi asserts that there are 16-17 languages in India! Is it because actually innumerable more languages get spoken in India or Rahul’s assertion has proved that multilingual diverse India does not start or end with Hindi only!
When the so-called “nationalist” camp makes a mockery of the diversity and heterogeneity of this multi-lingual multi-religious country by flying the flag of closed parochial “philosophy” named “Hindi-Hindu-Hindustan” and thereafter criticise Rahul Gandhi as part of “anti-India” force, it is indeed too tough to resist a bout of laughter!
