Editor,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I wish to bring to light the repeated delays in disbursing salaries of different categories of teachers by the Dadenggre Treasury Office.
Even after timely submission of the salary statements, it often takes about a week for the payment to be credited. When teachers enquire about the delay, they are informed that either the dealing assistant is absent or there is a “cyber down” problem. Such excuses have become frequent, causing financial inconvenience and hardship to teachers who rely on their monthly salaries for their livelihood.
It is the responsibility of the treasury office to ensure timely processing and payment without forcing employees to make repeated visits for enquiries. The concerned authorities are urged to address staff absenteeism, resolve technical issues promptly, and put in place a system that guarantees salaries are released on time.
I hope this matter will be taken up urgently in the interest of all affected teachers.
