The Geetali cricket team defeated Harishava in the above 45 Day/Nigh Cricket tournament held at the Harishava Mandap in Laban today.
The tournament is being organised by the Sanathan Dharmasabha Harishava on the eve of 125th Durga Puja celebration.
A total of 10 teams are taking part in the tournament that includes Matri Mandir, Harishava, Laban Shiv Mandir, Hindu Mission, Geetali, Nabajagran, R. R. Colony Ganesh Mandir, R R Colony Sarodiyo Utsav Samity, Jail Road Puja Committee and Lumparing.
Before the first match began, the tournament was inaugurated by Kamonamoy Deb, Shekar Das and Dipankar Deb.
