NPP legislator from Mawhati, Dasakhiat Lamare and HSPDP legislator from Mawkyrwat, Renikton L Tongkhar were today sworn-in as the new Ministers in the NPP led MDA Cabinet. Meghalaya Governor, Satya Pal Malik administered the oath of office of the two new Ministers at the swearing-in-ceremony which was held at Raj Bhavan.
Lamare is one of the youngest legislator to become a Cabinet Minister.
The oath taking ceremony was attended by Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma, Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong, their Cabinet colleagues and senior government officials.
