Cyclone Dana is likely to bring rainfall to Meghalaya and other North East states over the next few days.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), moderate rain was very likely to occur at many places in the State from tomorrow till October 27.
The IMD informed that the well-marked low-pressure area over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal has concentrated into a depression which will intensify into a severe cyclonic storm over the northwest Bay of Bengal by tomorrow.
As a result of this, moderate rain was expected at isolated places in Meghalaya and other North East states.
Cyclone Dana is likely to make landfall on the shores of West Bengal and Odisha tomorrow.
