With an aim to encourage people to take up cycling considering the health benefits it has, the Meghalaya Cycling Association (MCA) will hold a ‘Cross Country Race’ at Malki on December 18.
The cycling competition will comprise of the elite, junior and women categories and winner will be selected to compete at the national cycling competition to be held next year, the organisers said.
The MCA informed that the cash prize is Rs 50,000, which will be divided amongst the winners of different categories.
