Cyber cafes are charging extra from students to fill CUET forms online.
This was flagged by the Hynñiewtrep Integrated Territorial Organisation (HITO) to education minister, Lahkmen Rymbui today.
According to the organisation, students had to pay Rs 700 for filing up CUET forms online at cyber cafes.
HITO suggested that Rs 100 is a reasonable price for students to pay and asked cyber cafes not to exceed the amount.
According to the CUET application process, general category applicants can book a test slot by paying Rs 650, OBC/EWS applicants Rs 600 and SC/ST applicants can do so on payment of Rs 550.
