Twenty-four new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Meghalaya today. There were also three recoveries and no new fatalities.
All the new infections and recoveries were reported in East Khasi Hills.
In all, Meghalaya has had 13,845 Covid-19 cases, of which 81 are active, 13,596 have recovered and 147 have died from the virus.
The Health Department informed that 3, 44,070 persons have tested for COVID-19 in the state out of which 3, 30,225 were tested negative for the virus. Thirty-two persons are placed under institutional quarantine and 70 under home quarantine.
