Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has ordered the Health Department to identify land to build a Community Health Centre in Tikrikilla.
Sangma said this on social media yesterday. He had toured the Tikrikilla Primary Health Centre and found that the facility is “in a dilapidated condition and needs an upgrade.”
A CHC would be able to “provide better infra facilities and healthcare to the people,” he added.
The CM’s visit to the PHC was one of several activities he undertook in Tikrikilla on the day.
