MPCC president, Vincent H Pala today said that the Congress will be contesting all 60 Assembly seats in the 2023 polls and this target will be achieved as the party still has functional units.
Pala said that the next election will be fought not based on his work or money power but through the hard work of the Congress supporters.
The State Congress chief was in Mawkyrwat to announce the party candidate in Carnes Sohshang, who was defeated by Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar of the HSPDP by a margin of 458 votes in the 2018 Assembly elections.
Pala said his visit to Mawkyrwat was to streamline party works and urged the Congress workers to work hard and to focus on issues of development and local problems in the upcoming election.
