Congress leader Bobeeta Sharma today hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his “dynastic politics” remark, saying the BJP is afraid of the Gandhi family.
The BJP keep talking about dynasty politics because they’re afraid of the Gandhi family, that everybody knows the contribution they made towards the formation of the independence of India,” Sharma said.
Stating that the Congress also has a list of the BJP she said, “The list is already available in public domain and it’s like saying the same thing all over again and it does not make much of a difference to the people because people want good governance, free from corruption.”
Congress leader, Mathew Anthony accused the BJP of playing big-time “personality politics” more than any other party.
On the allegations made by other political parties that the Congress can never be a friend of the people, Anthony referred to the collapsed dome and asked, “Do you think the ones who have brought down the dome of the assembly are friends, the ones that have stolen 50 lakhs kilos of rice and other scams are friends?”
He further said that the people who made teachers sit in front of the secretariat are claiming themselves to be the “friends of Meghalaya.”
“Let them reflect and see who are all the partners in the MDA and all others who lied and cheat,” he said.
