A truck carrying coke rammed into a wall of the Presbyterian Church at Madanrting here in the wee hours of today.
According to people of the locality, the truck deviated from the highway and entered into a narrow downhill road.
The impact of the accident was such that the wall of the church was completely broken and the truck went inside its compound.
According to the caretaker of the church, Donbok Kharkongor, the incident occurred at around 1:20 am today.
The driver and the helper of the truck escaped the accident without any injuries.
Police said that the accident could have been due to a brake failure.
