Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Saturday visited different puja mandaps in Shillong to extend festive greetings to the people.
“On the occasion of Durga Puja, I extend my greetings to all the citizens of the State. May this puja be safe for everyone in the State. At the same, I also urge the people of the State that during this difficult time of Covid, we should ensure that we are always safe and maintain all the protocols while we are celebrating the puja,” said Chief Minister in his message.
“Wishing everyone a safe and happy Durga Puja. May the spirit of peace and brotherhood prevail in our State and country,” he tweeted.
