Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today announced the Chief Minister’s Scholarship Scheme, a new flagship program that will benefit 80,000 youth from the next financial year.
A grant of Rs 6,000 per annum will be provided to all post matriculate students to enable them to cover educational expenses.
The chief minister said this is in addition to the Central Government scholarship received by the students.
