The Shillong City Congress Committee will hold a workshop and panel discussion concerning unemployment and traffic snarls in the city.
The decision was taken after the Congress held a discussion recently on the two issues affecting the common man.
MPCC working president, PN Syiem said experts to discuss on these two subjects will be drawn from various institutions and universities. Members of the public will also be invited for the panel discussion on traffic snarls for suggestions, he added.
Meanwhile, Syiem informed that the committee has decided to strengthen the party block in seven constituencies under Shillong City.
The Shillong City Congress Committee also elected new office bearers that include PN Syiem as the Chairman, Marbud Dkhar, Working President, Robert Khongwir, and Nilufer Laloo, Vice President, among others.
