The Khasi Jaiñtia Christian Leaders Forum (KJCLF) will hold a special prayer service on Independence Day at the English Service Church in Police Bazar here from 11am.
“The KJCLF has a burden for the land and its people and calls on leaders of different churches to work together to bring about good governance, clean politics, with state and nation leaders who are free from corruption,” a release signed by the forum’s secretary, Rev EH Kharkongor, stated today.
The KJCLF invites all Christians to this service. The speaker will be Rev Phidolis Dkhar, Secretary of the Bible Society of India, Shillong Auxiliary.
