State Trinamool Congress president Charles Pyngrope today said that implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in Meghalaya should be withheld.
Terming implementation of the policy as a huge mistake, Pyngrope urged the State government to do a re-think on the policy “otherwise it would be detrimental to the future of the students”.
“Yesterday, I spoke to one of the former principals of St. Edmund’s College and he said you have to have experts to discuss this. This will affect the academic career of the students. Rethink has to be done on this policy and experts should be put (in place),” Pyngrope said.
