In his address, Dkhar spoke on the types of violence and discrimination prevalent in the society particularly cases of exploitation against women. He expressed optimism that the campaign would help generate mass awareness and encourage victims to report to authorities on any forms of violence and exploitation.
Additional Deputy Commissioner and DRDA Project Director, Gautam Warjri in his speech emphasised on ‘Project Awaz’, jointly implemented by the One Stop Centre, Khliehriat in collaboration with the district administration that focuses on creating awareness on issues concerning crimes against women across the district.
