A blood donation camp was today organised by 2 Meghalaya Battalion NCC of Shillong Group, North Eastern Region Directorate on the occasion of NCC Day in collaboration with Lion’s Club Shillong.
The donors were NCC cadets of various colleges in Shillong which included girls and boys.
Around 48 cadets turned up for the event out of which 31 cadets were found medically fit to donate blood.
A few civilians also joined on the occasion to donate blood. A total of 31units of blood was collected and deposited to the Pasteur Institute Regional Blood Bank.
