Shillong, Feb 18: The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) today tabled a vote on account amounting to Rs 36, 99, 83,830 for the three months from April 1 to June 30 of the financial year 2026-27.
Executive Member Seiborlang Warbah introduced the proposal, citing delays in compiling receipts and finalising 2025-26 expenditure figures.
He said the vote on account will allow the KHADC to cover salaries, pensions, administrative expenses, and developmental works.
The Civil Works and Development Department received Rs 16.24 crore, General Administration Rs 9.14 crore.
Warbah said the full Budget for 2026-27 will be presented in the next session.
