BSF Meghalaya intercepted illicit smuggling activities in various locations and confiscated contraband items worth more than Rs 11 lakh while it was being smuggled into Bangladesh.
Acting on specific information, the conducted various operations along the international border and seized buffaloes, Phensedyl, sugar, clothing item and other contraband items.
The confiscated goods were handed over to the respective customs office for further necessary legal actions, a BSF press release said.
