Shillong, Nov 10: The Border Security Force (BSF) has released the provisional list of selected candidates to fill up 300 vacancies from all the 12 districts of Meghalaya.
An official statement from the BSF, Meghalaya Frontier today said the list of provisionally selected candidates has been uploaded on the official BSF recruitment websites: www.bsf.gov.in / http://rectt.bsf.gov.in
The final merit list has been prepared based on the marks secured by candidates in the written examination after completion of the Document Verification (DV), Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME) (where applicable) between October 27 to November 4, the BSF said.
The appointment is provisional, subject to verification of Character and Antecedent Verification, Educational Qualification (Matriculation), Domicile Certificate, Scheduled Tribe (ST) Certificate, the statement added.
“The provisional offer of appointment letters will be issued to the successful candidates through post in due course of time,” the BSF said.
The BSF had conducted the Special Recruitment Rally for Constable (General Duty) exclusively for Meghalaya. The rally was conducted at the BSF Campus, Dhanakgiri in Tura and SHQ BSF Mawpat in Shillong, which drew in a large number of enthusiastic candidates eager to serve the nation.
