The Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya observed ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ (National Unity Day) with full zest and enthusiasm at all its headquarters in Meghalaya.
Commemorating the birth anniversary of the first Home Minister of independent India, Vallabhbhai Patel, the BSF disseminated the message of national unity and integration among the public through motorcycle rallies, cycle rallies, ‘Run for Unity’ race, march past, pledge ceremony and various other initiatives to spread the message of unity.
BSF Inspector General Inderjit Singh Rana also extended his warm wishes to all fellow citizens on the birth anniversary of the ‘Iron Man of India’.
