Continuing their endeavour for closer cooperation between the border population and the BSF, a Civic Action Programme (CAP) was held by the frontier men in Huroi village under East Jaiñtia Hills district.
The event was organized by the 97 Bn of the BSF Jowai and BSF Meghalaya Frontier HQ which was also attended by the waheh shnongs and secretaries of Huroi, Hingaria, Leijri, Lailong and Borsora villages and officials of the BSF.
About 200 villagers were provided with essential items including masks and sanitizers.
