The Border Security Force (BSF), Meghalaya DIG (PSO), I.D. Singh, DIG (PSO) along with Sector DIGs and Commandants of various units, celebrated Diwali with BSF troops deployed along the international border.
BSF commanders spent time with the troops conveying them heartfelt Diwali greetings and appreciated their unwavering commitment to their mission. They extended warm wishes for peace, prosperity and strength, acknowledging the unique challenges faced by border personnel who vigilantly guard the nation, day and night. “The dedication of BSF troops exemplifies their strength, resilience, and patriotism. We are deeply proud of each individual who protects our borders with unyielding commitment,” the commanders said.
“This Diwali gathering underscores the BSF’s ongoing commitment to supporting its personnel and honouring the sacrifices made by those serving on the front lines. The celebrations reflect the spirit of solidarity and respect for the men and women who protect our borders,” a statement from the BSF said.
