To mark the 75th anniversary of independence, the Border Security Force (BSF) began a motorcycle rally from Shillong to New Delhi, which will conclude on September 16.
This is one of a series of events organised by the force to mark 75 years of independence, such as performances by the BSF bands, friendly volleyball and football matches with Border Guards Bangladesh, photo exhibitions and cultural programmes, running from July to December this year under the BSF Eastern Command HQ.
The bike rally aims to raise awareness on national integration. Participants will also interact with school children, NCC volunteers and youths in several cities en route.
