Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui inaugurated the new school building of Pilingkata Secondary School yesterday.
Pilingkata is located in Ri-Bhoi along the interstate border with Assam.
The school building was constructed under the supporting human capital development scheme in Meghalaya, which was funded through a loan by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The minister said that Jirang constituency requires maximum focus by the government and many developmental projects have been allocated to the constituency in the three years of the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance government.
