A book authored by Phrikshon Kharshiing titled ‘Ka Saiñ Pyrkhat u Khasi bad ki Dak Thoh ha ka Ktien Khasi’ was released today by the Chief Executive Member of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC), Pyniaid Sing Syiem.
Speaking as the chief guest, Syiem commended Kharshiing’s efforts and contributions to preserving and promoting Khasi culture. Syiem also announced the establishment of a dedicated cell within KHADC aimed at fostering research on Khasi culture, along with the creation of a library that will house a wide range of vernacular literature.
The book delves into Khasi philosophy, exploring various dimensions of the social and cultural traditions of the Khasi community.
