The NSS unit of Sankardev College organised an awareness programme cum blood donation campaign which was participated by about 85 students comprising of NSS volunteers and NCC cadets of the college.
The programme which was held on March 25 in the indoor sports hall of the college was also attended by a team of medical professionals from the Regional Blood Centre, Pasteur Institute and NSS Program Officers of the college.
Speaking on the occasion, Medical Officer of the institute Dr. B.Passah stressed on the importance of blood donation.
In the interactive session, various queries and doubts regarding blood donation were clarified to the students.
The camp was organised as part of the ongoing Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the college.
