Hoping to gain ground in the State, the BJP will prepare to contest all Shillong seats in the 2023 Assembly election in the State.
An executive meeting of the BJP Shillong city district was today held and attended by both the party MLAs, Alexander Laloo Hek and Sanbor Shullai who together pledged to strengthen the party through their guidance, time and support, the BJP said.
District president, Nitin Khera and general secretary, Rocky Hek, district office bearers and the executive members were present at the meeting.
“A resolution was passed to strengthen the party from the booth level in all the seven mandals of Shillong City. It was resolved that BJP will endeavour to contest in all the seats in Shillong City,” the media cell of the party said in a statement.
