The Meghalaya BJP has expressed its thanks to the central government for extending the free rations distribution to underprivileged families under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojna by another three months.
Free rations, dubbed by the party as ‘khaw Modi’, will now be available to the people up to December 31, 2022.
The distribution will benefit the poorest of the poor and ensure that nobody sleeps hungry even as Meghalaya seeks to fight back from the Covid slowdown and into a new era of growth and development, a BJP press release said today.
