The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a mandal meeting in Shella today, with Assam BJP spokesperson Rupam Goswami in attendance.
Also present were BJP district president Tory Kharsati, state Kisan Morcha president Justice Syiem, state executive member Gagan Jain, mandal president Joshua Warjri, executive members and party workers.
Goswami spoke about the benefits of the various central government schemes that have been made available in Meghalaya. He also emphasised on the focus of the BJP government at the Centre on rural development.
