BJP general secretary, Arun Singh today held a meeting with his party members in Ri Bhoi district.
Singh was on a two-day visit to Meghalaya to interact with BJP workers. During the meeting, he laid stress on the seven years achievement made by the Modi government and how the Centre works in helping the people during the first and second waves of the Covid pandemic and the lockdown.
Singh urged party workers to reach the people at the grassroot and he also inquired about the mandals and booth committees in the district. He emphasised on coordination and cooperation in strengthening the party, for it to return in 2023.
Others who spoke at the occasion are Ajay Jamwal, NE General Secretary (Org.), State President Ernest Mawrie and BJP MLA and cabinet minister, Sanbor Shullai.
