In an unparalleled achievement for healthcare excellence in the North East, Bethany Hospital, Shillong, has been designated as a Centre for Quality Promotion by the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organisations (CAHO) India.
This prestigious recognition positions Bethany Hospital as the first in the region and the 37th hospital nationwide to be acknowledged for its commitment to quality healthcare and patient safety, a press release stated today.
The announcement was made during a two-day international healthcare conclave held in Kolkata, which saw participation from key leaders in healthcare in the country and the world.
As a ‘Centre for Quality Promotion’, Bethany Hospital embarks on a mission to advocate and implement the standards set forth by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) and National Accreditation Body for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) in the region.
