A two day workshop on “Basic Electronics and Instrumentation-2022” was organised by the Department of Physics, Sankardev College to provide hands-on training to students on the use of basic electronic circuits, to recognise discrete components and ICs and to assembly simple circuits.
The workshop organised on April 1 and 2 created a platform for the students to design, experiment, analyze and interpret electronics equipment and tools such as DSO, IC555timer, transistors, etc.
The resource persons for the workshop were Arup Bora from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati and Deepjyoti Mahanta from Assam Don Bosco University, Guwahati.
Participants of the workshop included faculty members and students from different colleges and Universities of the State and Assam.
College Principal, Dr. E.F.P Lyngdoh in her inaugural address spoke on the practical application of Physics and electronics in today’s world of modern technological advancements.
