A Bangladeshi national was apprehended by a patrolling team of the Border Security Force (BSF) while trying to illegally enter the country through a border village in East Khasi Hills district.
The BSF today said that the man identified as Md Amdadul Haque from the Narayanganj district of Bangladesh was detected yesterday. The team recovered Bangladeshi taka from his possession.
The person was later handed over to Pynursla police station, the statement said.
