An awareness programme on Coronavirus and the importance of vaccination against the disease was organised in 10 villages under Pynursla block by the Noida based NGO, AROH foundation and HDFC Bank in collaboration with the health department.
The villages of Laitlyting, Laitmynrieng, Langkawet, Nongmadan Shadsngi, Myllad, Lyting Lyngdoh, Saitbakon, Tangmang and Mawlam were covered under the awareness programme wherein residents were briefed on the importance of Nutritional Management, needs and prevention to be observed in order to help contain the cause and spread of Covid-19.
Knowledge on how the Coronavirus is caused its transmission, signs and symptoms and isolation were imparted to villagers. They were also taught by doctors on how to improve or to get their immunity boosted, eating rich nutritional diet and importance of vaccination.
Headman of Lyting Lyngdoh village in his speech said that such programmes will remove doubts of vaccination.
