The administration of Pynursla civil sub-division has informed that the road stretch from Laitlyngkot to Lyngkyrdem (Chainage kms 24+00 – 37+00) of the Shillong-Dawki road continues to remain vulnerable to landslides due to incessant rainfall and vehicles on the stretch should remain cautious.
Commuters have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel during the next few days.
The Laitlyngkot to Lyngkyrdem (Chainage kms 24+00 – 37+00) stretch will also be closed to all vehicular traffic from July 14 to 20 daily from 11am to 4pm and from 9pm to 4am.
