Shillong, Oct 4: The Arm Wrestling Tournament 2025 for South West Garo Hills was held at the Indoor Stadium in Ampati on October 2.
The event, organised by the South West Garo Hills District Arm Wrestling Association in collaboration with the District Sports Office, drew 40 participants, including 34 men and 10 women.
The tournament featured various categories for both men and women. In the men’s section, competitions were held in the 55 kg above, 75 kg above, and 90 kg above categories. Women competed in the 40 kg above, 60 kg above, and 80 kg above categories.
This event highlights the growing interest in arm wrestling in the region and provides a platform for local athletes to showcase their skills.
