The Archbishop of Shillong, the Most Rev Victor Lyngdoh, released a book yesterday, on the occasion of Maundy Thursday, entitled ‘Patris Corde’ (With the Father’s Heart), at a short function here.
The book is a translation of an apostolic letter of Pope Francis on the 150th anniversary of the proclamation of Saint Joseph as patron of the Catholic Church. The book has been translated and published by the Synjuk ki Seng Rangbah Shillong Archdiocese.
The Archbishop highlighted the importance of this book and said that it will help parents to be more caring towards their children in today’s challenging world. A short talk was also delivered by Rev Fr Pius Shadap, the spiritual director of the Synjuk, and Richard Kahit, the president of the Synjuk.
