Nehru Yuva Kendra, Shillong, in association with Metallica-Sargam Sports & Cultural Club organised varied cultural programmes to commemorate the 135th birth anniversary of the architect of the Indian Constitution, Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar today at St Nanak Secondary School premises, Pynthorbah, here.
The chief guest during the occasion was RS Dohling, Assistant Rangbah Shnong of
Pynthorbah. Forty-eight male and 19 female participants took part in the various activities organised, which included singing of the national anthem, reading of the Constitution’s preamble, English essay writing, cleaning drive, etc.
