Any decision to call an all-party meeting to discuss the Covid-19 crisis in Meghalaya will have to depend on a decision by Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma.
This was stated by Agriculture Minister Banteidor Lyngdoh today.
The state cabinet will meet tomorrow and will discuss all matters relating to the coronavirus situation.
“We will sit tomorrow to discuss what further steps we need to take on the situation and to assist the people of the state,” Lyngdoh said.
Meanwhile, Lyngdoh, who is also Sports Minister, expressed doubts that Meghalaya will be able to hold the National Games as scheduled in 2022 because of the pandemic.
