The All India Trinamool Congress-Meghalaya (AITC-M) today constituted its block committee in Sohiong.
The sixteen member committee will be led by Stodingster Thabah as the block president and Dinestar Rani as the general secretary.
James Lyngdoh, Vice-President, AITC Meghalaya state, Bansharai Pyngrope, President, Trinamool Student Congress, Meghalaya, Iohdorlang Diengdoh, President, Sohra Block Trinamool Congress, Macmillan Kharbani, President, Nongstoiñ Block Trinamool Congress and several others were present.
The newly appointed president said, “We are on a process of building TMC’s base in nook and corner of Meghalaya. We are meeting people and our leaders are interacting with grassroots and introducing them to the TMC’s ideology and vision. The main reason behind people joining TMC is that only TMC is capable of fighting against the divisive BJP.”
Highlighting the rising unemployment, the Trinamool Student Congress president and encouraged drop-outs to restart their journey in education.
The president of Sohra Block Trinamool Congress explained the vision and mission of the party to the public.
Vice-president James Lyngdoh entrusted the newly-appointed committee to work hard and reach every nook and corner of the block to strengthen the arms of Trinamool Congress.
