The West Garo Hills District Magistrate, Ram Singh, issued an order today thereby exempting in-situ agricultural activities by villagers from the purview of total curfew subject to strict compliance of Covid protocols.
The order also directed all Agriculture Development Officers, Horticulture Development Officers and the Veterinary Extension Officers to take necessary action in coordination with the Block Development Officers of their respective jurisdiction.
The order further said that violation of any of the conditions will lead to revocation of the exemption order.
