A recruitment rally will be organised at the Manekshaw Stadium, 58 GTC in Happy Valley, here to enlist Agniveers to the Indian Army under the Agnipath scheme.
The rally will be held for Meghalaya and four districts of Central Assam from September 14 to September 25, a defence press statement said.
Candidates who had applied for the Agnipath have been allotted specific dates to appear for the rally.
Informing that the military state and district authorities have joined hands together to make the event a great success, the defence statement said that the recruitment process is automated and no person can influence the result of any candidate.
It also urged candidates not to fall prey to touts or indulge in any malpractices.
