Entering the 75th year of Indian independence, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Meghalaya is planning on hoisting 175 national flags across Meghalaya.
This is part of the Hindu nationalist student body’s design to celebrate Independence Day at 1.25 lakh places around the country.
ABVP Meghalaya aims to distribute 5,000 national flags in as many houses in the state.
ABVP central working committee member Darilin Tang released the poster of the organisation’s 75th Independence Day celebrations at the state office of the ABVP Meghalaya.
