Shillong, Aug 2: Passersby on Saturday evening allegedly injured three suspected drug users after they found out that an individual was assaulted and looted.
The victim was allegedly attacked by a group of suspected drug users while he was passing through the road behind Raj Bhavan opposite the State Convention Centre.
Passersby who saw the incident stopped and went to help the man and found him injured.
Immediately, the police arrested the youths involved in the attack but many of them involved in the attack escaped and only three were arrested.
The victim was taken to Civil Hospital Shillong for treatment so also the three attackers.
